MANILA, Philippines — Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla, and Agrarian Reform Secretary Conrado Estrella III will serve as the country’s caretakers while President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is in Lao People’s Democratic Republic or Laos, the Palace said on Tuesday.
According to Presidential Communications Office Secretary Cesar Chavez, the President will attend the 44th and 45th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) Summit and related summits in Laos from October 8 to 11.

Marcos is also set to meet the 400-member Filipino community in Laos.
