MANILA, Philippines — The night before the long weekend starts for the observance of All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day or “Undas,” several expressways are continuously being monitored by the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) amid the expected influx of motorists.
Based on the traffic monitoring update by the TRB, traffic situation on major thoroughfares as of 4 p.m., are as follows:
Article continues after this advertisement Tarlac-La Union-Pangasinan Expressway (TPLEX) – Light Traffic Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) – Light Traffic North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) – Heavy traffic observed at Balintawak NB (north bound) to Meycauayan NB due to high volume of vehicles, currently NLEX implemented a counterflow scheme around Meycauayan area to ease the heavy traffic at the said location Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3 (MMSS3) – Light Traffic Metro Manila Skyway Stage 1 and 2 (MMSS 1 and 2) – Light to Moderate Traffic at both bounds of the Elevated Section Naia Expressway (NAIAX) – Observed Moderate to Heavy Traffic at Eastbound (to Skyway bound) Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway (CAVITEX) – Long queueing observed at Paranaque Toll Plaza South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) – Observed Heavy Traffic at Susana Heights traversing Southbound due to high volume of vehicles Muntinlupa Cavite Expressway (MCX) – Light Traffic Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) – Light TrafficREAD: LIVE UPDATES: Undas 2024
