MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has rescued over 186,000 individuals from nine regions affected by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine (international name Trami).
The PCG reported on Thursday that Southern Tagalog, Northeastern Luzon, National Capital Region, Eastern Visayas, Southern Visayas, Western Visayas, and Northeastern Mindanao were severely affected by Kristine.

Seven vessels and 171 vehicles were dispatched to help the government with its disaster response operations.

Based on the latest report of disaster agencies, Kristine and Typhoon Leon (international name: Kong-rey) affected 7.4 million people and reportedly killed 150 individuals.
